C. Danny Breakenridge is the Executive Director of UPSTAIRS MUSIC/LYRICS INSTITUTE, with over 20 years experience working as a music publisher, record producer and artist manager. Breakenridge holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Barry University in Miami, Florida and has completed Management Studies at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica.

He is a former Secretary of the Jamaica Federation of Musicians Union (JFM), 1984-1985 and was a member of the devoted team that worked to set industry standards that artists now enjoy in the entertainment business in that country. UPSTAIRS MUSIC and LYRICS INSTITUTE are members of multiple publishing societies, including BMI, PRS, MCPS, The Harry Fox Agency and PPL.
